Al99,7 is our aluminium wire for TIG welding pure aluminium and wrought aluminium alloys. Highly resistant to chemical attack and weathering. It is a relatively soft alloy that is very formable and it is used extensively in thin-gauge and foil products. The deposit weld metal has good mechanical properties. Typical applications include repair welding engine blocks, oil-castings, automotive parts and aluminium pump housings. To be used in combination with tungsten electrodes type WP.
